Classmate Interview

For my short interview, I chose a friend whose currently a student in Idaho. At the moment she doesn't quite have any strict goal for the future, so she hopes to see where or what may lead her. Just like me, she would sometimes spends time drawing to past the time. She doesn't really feel the need to be good at it, but it doesn't stop her from just enjoying it, not for a career. I, myself, live to draw and chose it as a career. But at times, I can sometimes choose it as a hobby when I have nothing to do and need to avoid a chance at an future art block/creative block.

Another she mentions is playing Video games. She's more into the RPG (Role Playing Game), Story-based, or sandboxes. When playing other games, she doesn't seem to enjoy them as much (Fighting, competitive, etc.). She much rather it be just for enjoyment. Doesn't matter if she's good at it or not.
For me, I'd agree with the RPG Video games, I enjoy playing those from time to time. Such as playing the Elder Scrolls series. Always been an absolute escape from reality game, from restarting the story to finishing main quest lines.

I've learned a little, but not a lot, as I already know most about what she does to past time. I guess one of the things I'd ask would be: "What do you most enjoy out of all the hobbies?". I have multiple thing's I like to do to past time, but I personally like to read something to keep my mind off of things, or instead of being filled into a empty mind space that's just full of negative/unnecessary thoughts. Another would be: "Do you like to spend time with someone with one of these hobbies, or would you prefer to do it alone?". People like to play video games to past time such as on their off times from work (or during), need a small break to clear their minds, and so on. But it's much more fun to do that with someone, right? Messaging a friend, or a group of friends to set up a lobby on said game, and spend a couple of minutes maybe hours of a session with them is enjoyable and memorable.
The last question I could've asked would be: "Would you experience a newer hobby?". Some don't like to go out of their comfort zone or see new stuff they never would've thought they might like. Maybe you want to start crafting. Or do some shop surfing for a new collection idea you want to start. There's plenty of weird, cool, yet interesting hobbies people pick up on.
