Media Ethics
If I came across this I would much rather not take a photo of this, and interfere with this sudden attack. No man should be hurt without a reasoning. Coming from how the acts from police officers in the recent and past years there's been a lack of trust for our safety put in the hands of policemen/women. This is what we rely on for our safety and for the children's safety.
Granted, some would much rather publicly show how awful police can be for just beating down on some homeless man on the street, but would you much rather stop that? It's the same with seeing those cruel videos of people abusing animals for their own 'pleasure', or maybe less vulgar, of a video recording of someone recording an serious situation instead of acting on it or calling for emergency help. What does that solve?
There are plenty of other examples such as the TikToker, Alex Bodger, who filmed a horrific video of a father whose been stabbed for asking a man to stop vaping sense his daughter was with him. You could hear sounds of crying in the background, as Alex just films the man in the background bleeding out saying "Yo, he is dying, bro" repeatedly in different sentences. Not bothering to call for any emergency help, or providing help. Instead explains that it was traumatic to him in a later video, and that he deserved it with no explanation. Now does that sound right to just rely on Filming and Photos of horrible acts? I say it is better to engage in horrible scenarios, than to be a spectator. Media doesn't show how good humanity can be.
